How to create a Table asset

To create a new Table asset, within BLOX Assets select +New at the top of the Search Results panel and then select More...>Table. This will populate the Table (new) panel where the required information can be completed to build the asset.

Table asset support a wealth of options, but only require the following:

• Asset title
• At least 1 Column and 1 Row
• Section tag

Building the asset

Title: Add a meaningful article title.

Byline: A Byline may be included. This will appear either alongside the Author or by hovering over the Author, depending on the presentation style. 

Authors: User the dropdown menu to attribute an Author to the article. The menu will include registered Admin/Normal BLOX users. 

Table: Rows and Columns can be added by using the Add Row and Add Column tools within the toolbar. 

Import/Export: A .CSV can be importer by utilizing this option. Once a .CSV has been uploaded, you'll be given the opportunity to define the header rows within the data for import. To see a dynamic preview of the first 10 records of the table, select Update preview. If the table appears as expected, select Accept settings. If the table is showing unexpected results, modify Delimiter, Enclosure and First record options.  

Description: A caption can be included that will appear beneath the Table asset. 

Start Date/time: Use the date/time tools to specify when the table will be available to readers. 

Display Priority: The default value is null, or 0. Enter a value here to signify higher importance for the day it's published. 

Tags: Within the Sections panel, select +Add and then select the URL the asset should belong to then then choose Save to build the Table asset.
