Overview
This overview describes the various areas of the Contacts Search Interface within the Community Application, including the Application Navigation, Create Shortcut button, Key Metric Display, Search Filter, Advanced Filters, Quick Filters, and Search Results.
The Contacts Search displays consolidated data from Subscription, User Accounts, and Email Newsletters all in one place. By default results are grouped by E-mail. Click on an individual Contact in the Search Results to open that Contact in the Single Customer View.
📝 This is fundamentally different than the Legacy BLOX CMS Admin’s Subscription Application that displayed individual completed subscription transactions. Additionally, admin account type users are not displayed here. Admin type user accounts are displayed and managed in Admin Management.
Application Navigation
The Application Navigation allows navigation within the selected application. For example, while in the Community Application, Application Navigation allows navigation between Contacts Search, Dashboard, Services, Journeys, etc.
In addition, Application Navigation offers options to return to the Home Dashboard, access help documentation, and collapse or expand the Application Navigation.
Create Shortcut
The Create Shortcut option lets users quickly create any number of items such as an asset or a user account. It recommends options based on the current application and allows users to pin frequently used items.
Key Metric Display
The Key Metric Metric Display displays key Community Dashboard key performance indicators.
For additional information on these check out our Community Key Metric Display documentation.
Search Filter
The Search Filter allows the user to enter ‘search text’ to filter the search results. Type or paste text within this field to search by E-mail, First Name, or contact Last Name.
Advanced Filters
The Advanced Filters allows for filtering by Contact’s Subscription State, Subscription Service Type, Subscription Start Range, Subscription Expire Rate, Rate Price Range, Account Status, Auth. Type, and Banned [Status].
Group by Subscription Service
By default this option is set unchecked ensuring that the Contacts Search displays consolidated data from Subscription, User Accounts, and Email Newsletters all in one place, grouped by E-mail.
